Bob Frederick, Ph.D.

The Dr. Bob Frederick Lecture Series honors highly respected Dr. Bob Frederick of the University of Kansas for a lifelong commitment to teaching, coaching, and athletic administration. Throughout Dr. Frederick’s career he served in a variety of sport leadership roles, many of them at the University of Kansas where he participated as a student-athlete, coached, served as an athletic director, and taught classes in sport management. 

 

Revered for his value-driven leadership style, Dr. Frederick always put the best interest of the students and student-athletes first. The speakers in this lecture series exemplify his commitment to treating people with dignity and respect and helping young people develop and achieve success. Featured presenters include sport leaders from intercollegiate athletic administration, sport governance, sport business, education, coaching, and recreation. 

 

The Dr. Bob Frederick Sport Leadership Lecture Series is supported by the Lewis-Clark State College Sport Administration Program. Lewis-Clark State College offers a Bachelor of Arts/Science in Sport Administration as a co-curricular degree between the Business Division and the Movement and Sport Sciences Division.
